X.1782. WESTON MILLI-VOLTMETER NO.32901.

We are sending into the Stores, 1 Weston Milli-voltmeter No.32901 together with portable shunt and leads. Seals unbroken.

Lately we have had reason to doubt the exactness of this instrument, and also have noted a tendency of the needle to be sluggish on the first third of the scale (i.e. 0 - 50 divisions) leading possibly to further error of corresponding readings.

We should be pleased if you will have the instrument and shunt returned to Messrs. Weston for re-calibration. Owing to the purpose for which it is used, we should like the instrument to be put into as accurate a condition as is possible for this type.
