RM.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} [Handwritten in blue] 1322 [Handwritten in red] EJJ. copy to RM.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} Wn/GRH3/RS.{Sir Henry Royce's Secretary}20.3.41. Air Raid Damage to Skid Pan. Wn/GRH7/RS.{Sir Henry Royce's Secretary}10.3.41. Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} has informed us that the damage to the skid pan occurred early in February and that approximately 20% of the concrete surface will have to be relaid. This information however, is not sufficient to enable us to make a claim under the War Damage to property Compensation Scheme. [Red handwritten initials 'gm' over text] It is essential that we should know:- (1) The exact date upon which the damage occurred. (2) The nature and extent of the physical damage to the property and (3) what it is estimated it would cost to make good the damage. Would you please let us have this information as quickly as possible as the 30 days in which we ought to have made our claim has already expired. Wn. gRH. [gRH is a handwritten signature] | ||
