Air Raid Damage to Skid Pan, Sinfin.

We are in receipt of your memo ref. above, regarding air raid damage to skid pan, and below give the information requested -

1. February 4th. 1941.

2. Damage to concrete surface of skid pan, an area of 42ft. x 30ft. See description in (3) below.

3. Hacking out fractured and damaged 7" thickness reinforced concrete to area 42ft. x 30ft. and carting away. Fill up crater beneath concrete paving size 12ft. x 9ft. x 5ft. deep with clay, well rammed and consolidated and re-form ground to contours of skid pan. Lay 7" thickness cement concrete reinforced with No.6. B.R.C. fabric to area disturbed with tamped finish and form joints to existing concrete in bitumen expansion jointing. Area of concrete to be re-laid - 140 square yards......... £125. 0. 0d.
