Will you please see that any Bentley Type "A" Stabilisers which you supply conform to the above specification.

A further query has arisen since the writer telephoned you yesterday. We would like to know whether you would be able to supply the chromium plated bars that form the bumper bar proper with a groove in the middle of their width, as in the sketch.

This would be for reasons of appearance and is as yet only a suggestion.
