CRANKCASE. (Handwritten): X.9000 & X8000
We send you herewith drawing No. LeC.1878., shewing the EAC.2. crankcase increased in height 1" to suit the longer connecting rods.
You will notice that we have raised the walls vertically with this amount adding to the height of the valve tappet chamber.
Lightening holes are suggested in the longitudinal wall of the valve tappet chamber and it is possible that these might be of some assistance in the foundry. We do not mind however if they are not used.
