N-W. PM X4117 A18/H.5.11.31. re Chassis GXO/105 - Porter Thank you for your Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}11/AD4.11.31. The chassis to which you are referring is as above. You will remember, if you refer to your records, that you sent us some special shock absorbers for this car. We do not know if these have got split pistons in them and we are not able to make an examination as the car is due out this morning. Doubtless, however, you will know this from your records. We shall really now have to leave it to you to decide whether or no you send us the new type of shock dampers mentioned in the third paragraph of your memo. Perhaps you will kindly let us know in due course what you are going to do. [Handwritten note start] Read I know nothing re the above except that I was asked to modify a complete set taken from R.O. stock for the above customer. They certainly did not have split Pistons fitted. ESBrock 13/11/31 [Handwritten note end] [Signature] A.{Mr Adams} [illegible] [Stamp: REC'D ... 1931 NOV] | ||
