Mr. Knight,
Messrs. Philco Radio & Telivision Corporation of
Great Britain Ltd.,
Perivale,
Greenford,
Middlesex.

Dear Mr. Knight,

I must hasten to apologise for the long time it has taken us to return the car radio receiver. These are two factors which have caused the delay :-

(a) The set was fitted to an experimental car which necessitated waiting until the car was available off the road.

(b) We have ceased sending radio sets by rail due to the Railway Companies uncompromising attitude in regard to liability should the set become damaged in transit. We therefore had to wait until we had a lorry or car going to London which was not until yesterday, and we hope you received the set safe and sound to-day.

I am sorry if you have been seriously inconvenienced thereby and I am looking forward to receiving the new set which we will try out on a new car if possible.

Yours sincerely,
