Dear Mr. West,

May I ask your attention to my letter of the 19th ultimo requesting you to kindly return the car radio receiver on loan to you.

It would be greatly appreciated if you could possibly arrange to make return of this set within the next day or two, because we have completely exhausted our stock and very shortly will have available a new product, and as you probably know once we have announced a new set it is practically a matter of impossibility for us as Manufacturers to dispose of any of the past models.

Alternatively, if you prefer to keep the receiver we shall be very pleased to invoice it to you at the nett price of £9. Incidentally this would simplify matters for us in view of the delay in returning the set.

Yours very truly,
