P.2. GEARBOX, STRENGTHENED 3rd. MOTION SHAFT.

With regard to the failure of the 3rd. motion shaft on 19-EX. after 23,000 miles, in addition to the increased radius suggested in HS{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/GRY{Shadwell Grylls}12/KT311032., we think that new shafts should be strengthened by the modifications shewn on N. scn. 3557. herewith, the principle feature of which is increased size of spline.

With the increase of shaft we shew the stress is reduced 26%.
