To By: c. to RHC.{R. H. Coverley - Production Engineer} 4530 Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Gry.{Shadwell Grylls}18/KW.2.11.34. 20/25 Clutch to N.Sch.3948. We find that the flywheel to G.56836 has again caused flywheel vibration owing to the thickened ring in the middle of the thin flange. We have consulted Da.{Bernard Day - Chassis Design} as to whether .150" of metal is sufficient to retain the studs that limit the movement of the sprung back plate. Da.{Bernard Day - Chassis Design} agrees that this is quite sufficient. We send you a blue print of G.56836 showing the flywheel modified, which we have previously run and found successful. Will you therefore please alter the tracing and instruct the new flywheel for 10,000 miles test on 21-G-IV. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Gry.{Shadwell Grylls} | ||
