RIVETING BY THE BIFURCATED RIVETING CO'S METHODS. RE: CLUTCHES. Will you kindly note that when the fabric is riveted to the driven member as in the recent clutches for SpectreCodename for Phantom III, 20/25 and Bentley, that we should not adopt the Bifurcated Co's method of riveting, as the Experimental Department inform us that damage is caused to the fabrics under these circumstances. Will Mr. D'Aeth therefore kindly arrange on the following clutches - SpectreCodename for Phantom III. 20/25 HP. - N.Sch.3948 Bentley - N.Sch.4190 that the fabrics are secured on the driven member by our old methods. If and when any of the above schemes come on to production, Sft.{Mr Swift} should note that the above instruction should be put into force. BY.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} By | ||
