-2- E/PSN.2/M.31.5.37. We also understand that a certain amount of trouble is experienced in service with these dampers due to variations in friction torque, and a possible solution is the use of a bonded type of friction material instead of phosphor bronze. This new design is particularly suited for the use of this type of friction surface, which might be tried as an alternative. Will you please detail this scheme and instruct experimentally as soon as possible. E/PSN. Att: LeC.5698. Prints to HPS.{Horace Percy Smith - Experimental Factory Mgr} RHC{R. H.
