THE AUTOCAR—Continuation 26th October, 1938 W. A.{Mr Adams} Robotham, Esq. 'General' filter, manufactured by British Filters Ltd., of Aircraft House, Market Harborough. I am going into this - also the 'Luber-Finer', which has been brought to my notice by Colonel Collier. Finally, your note on the subject of recent technical articles has rather disturbed me. I presume you are referring to our friend, B., who is generally very sound but is apt to bring in contentious subjects and satisfies himself, but not necessarily others. You know that it is a bold man who will step into the open and discuss outstanding technical problems, and if one cramps the style of those who are willing, it is not easy to replace them. You, for instance, are far too busy with your immediate work to think of contributing to our journals? With renewed thanks for your letter, Yours sincerely, Geoffrey Smith MANAGING EDITOR | ||
