BALLOON TYRES. +4565 ~~49420~~ We find that the wheels suitable for the 7" Dunlop low pressure tyres for the 40/50 HP. foul the cross steering levers on cars fitted with 4-wheel brakes. The cross steering levers on the 4-wheel brake cars were extended to clear the stiffening rib and damper on the edge of the drum. These features have now been done away with on the front wheel brake drums and we could use a shorter cross steering lever. Until this is done it will be necessary to change the cross steering levers if low pressure tyres are fitted. Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} | ||
