Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} Pistons. Tsn With reference to magnesium pistons. During my visit to Slough, I showed Tresilian's drawing to Brooks, and the following is the outcome. If it is proposed to make say an Aerolite piston in magnesium; there are one or two points in Tresilian's drawing with which Brooks does not fully agree. The obvious thing is for them to get together on the job. Is there anything against this? If not, Brooks would be willing, and would rather, produce the designs from Tresilian's dressings. Will you please reply to the attached letter, if you agree, and so arrange the combined effort. L.M. Falk. | ||
