Messrs L.Weekes (Luton) Ltd.,
LUTON, Beds

For the attention of Mr.C.H.Dryden.

Dear Sirs,

We thank you for your letter of the 3rd instant reference WF/SB.{Mr Bull/Mr Bannister} You will by now have received a letter from our Mr. Harvey-Bailey in which confirmation is given to our decision to discontinue coiling the wire in the end of the fuse for the time being.

Replying to your paragraph (a), the reason for us asking for the end of the fuse wire to project beyond the solder is that it gives us a guarantee when the wire is additionally soldered to the cap.

We are now awaiting the supply of experimental fuses which you are sending to us for test.

Yours faithfully,

FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LTD.
