Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} from EP.{G. Eric Platford - Chief Quality Engineer} c. to PN.{Mr Northey} CIR X.3461. EP{G. Eric Platford - Chief Quality Engineer}19/F25.2.20. X.346/ RE. REAR SHOCK ABSORBERS FOR 19-LW. With reference to your memo Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}3/LG24.2.20. we have already arranged with Mr. Evans to let us know when 1-LW will be finished at the Coachbuilders, so that we can try this car with the shock absorbers fitted. If we cannot therefore arrange for 19-LW to be tried by us at the works before going to the South of France, we should then try it in London if possible simultaneously with 1.LW. We trust this can be arranged satisfactorily. It is certainly essential that we should try both these cars, especially 19-LW, before going to the south of France. EP.{G.
