Huckerby} Messrs Rolls-Royce Ltd., Nightingale Road, DERBY. 15th August 1938 Dear Sirs, We thank you for your letter of the 12th instant enclosing prints for the General Filter, with modifications to your requirements. We will produce a sample to these drawings shortly and forward it to you for your approval. We shall soon be producing these Filters in these Works, and we have, in fact, actually started with the production of the Cartridges. To enable us to calculate the maximum discounts which we can allow you on the price of the Filters, we would be glad if you would let us know the approximate quantities in which the Filters and Cartridges might be ordered. We have not yet had any definite test data from other firms, as you will appreciate that we approached your Company in the first place, and you were the first to be supplied with Filters for test purposes.
