Examination of a defective ammeter that caused a 'blackout' on a Bentley, identifying the fault as bad workmanship.

By/RD. 261 Re Defective Ammeter which caused a "Blackout" on Bentley B.118.JD.{J. Draper - Frames} We have examined this instrument and find the fault due to bad workmanship. On examination it was found that the end connection of the actuating coils were loose.
