Bentley 50.

I have noticed that the road wheels are being held in position by studs and nuts. The nuts I notice have been designed so that they have to be fitted one end only. This is a calamity. To facilitate easy changing of wheels the nuts should be reversible. The inside thread should be cut away to allow a lead approximately 1/8" deep. The depth of the wheel brace socket for the nuts should allow the full depth of the nut and no more. This does away with the shoulder on the nuts I saw fitted.

The discs should be held on by a central screw which can be undone by a penny or coin of similar size. The springing of the disc into position and getting off is a curse, many times a slight bump has destroyed its propositions.
