RE 20 HP. CHASSIS.

I have made a very rough list of the designs awaiting West WitteringHenry Royce's home town in connection with the above, and submitted it to Mr. Royce. A lot of the items in this list are nearly completed so far as we are concerned, the main portion of the scheming work being done, and it will not be long before we send them to Derby.

Mr. Royce decided that certain of the items which he marked off should be altogether completed at West WitteringHenry Royce's home town, while other items hereafter indicated, he would like Mr. Day to make schemes of, so as to help the job on as much as possible.

The following parts of the engine are approaching completion and we expect to send the necessary schemes very shortly:-

Crankcase and bearings.
Valve gear.
Camshafts and casings.
Crankshaft spring drive.
Wheelcase and gears.
Water pump and drive.
Oil pump and drive.
Oil relief valve.
Oil filter.
Lighting dynamo.
Starting motor.
Radiator suspension.

The following items will be dealt with at West WitteringHenry Royce's home town:-

Camshaft drive.
Magneto drive and fittings.
Battery ignition.
Inlet pipes.
Carburettor.
Radiator.
Spare oil tank.
