CHASSIS - RE: NAME ON HUB CAPS.

Referring to E/Ev.{Ivan Evernden - coachwork}2/MN.19.3.37. and OX.11/KW.1.4.37. we were surprised at the suggestion to eliminate the Company's name or monogram from the hub caps of our various chassis on the score of cheapness.

In passing an M.G. car recently I noticed that it carried a very nice monogram on the spare wheel carrier at the back, an equally good monogram on the front of the car, and a similar monogram of a different size on the wheel hubs. If the M.G. Co. who sell their car at a very low figure indeed can afford to put a really well finished monogram in six places on the car, surely our Company cannot seriously consider the proposal to delete the name or monogram from the hub caps.

It is very certain that a customer buying one of our chassis would expect to find that the Company were sufficiently proud of their product to have the name or monogram carried on all the prominent parts of the car where such a monogram is usually expected to be by the man in the street.
