Policy 1260. C O P Y. RHC.{R. H. Coverley - Production Engineer} from Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Les.{Ivan A. Leslie} Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Les2/R.31.12.36. BENTLEY IMPROVED AXLE CONTROL - RR.Sch.966. Before the above parts were made, Sft.{Mr Swift} intimated that the increase in cost would be 2d per chassis. The standardisation sheet, however, shows an increase of 13/11d. . If Sft{Mr Swift}'s original estimation is incorrect, it would be interesting to see how the money is spent. It had been hoped that the construction of R.R. Sch.966 would show a reduction in cost. Have you got any comparison cost figures for the two designs which we might see ?
