O P's & HP,

GOSHAWK 11. X.4219 X.4226.

We should be very glad if you could supply us with figures giving the HP. of the Goshawk 11. car, taken on the dynamometer from 500 to 2250 revs. of the engine.

We have some similar curves for the Marmon, Buick, Humber, Dodge and the Hupmobile cars supplied by Mr. Hives 19.5.21, and we would like to make a comparison of the torque characteristics. All the cars named, with the exception of the Marmon, shew their maximum torque at well below 1000 R.P.M. In the case of the Humber the hump occurs at about 700 r.p.m. We wish to compare with Goshawk 11.

We would also like to know what actual timing of the valves you are obtaining on hot engine Goshawk 11.

E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer}
