Y120 To Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} From Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} c. to C. c. to Wor.{Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager} c. to Sft.{Mr Swift} Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}6/MJ.6.11.33. Y7520 Miles We attach herewith the cost of controllable shock dampers as fitted to Sg{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD}'s. car 104-MY. It will be seen that compared with Hartford Telecontrol shock absorbers there will be a saving of £3. 6. 9d. It has already been agreed that we need controllable shock dampers whether R.R. or Telecontrol on both types of P.II chassis. At present we are running a 10,000 miles test, 5,000 have been completed and we expect in two weeks time to issue a Standardisation Sheet. As soon as this control has been standardised, as the Works have already proceeded with 25 sets of parts, it can be got on to the chassis in four to six weeks. Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} | ||
