Dear Sirs,

In reply to your letter for which we thank you, we very much appreciate the answers given to us, these answers settle all the points, with the exception of perhaps the most important one, namely can we get the bearing in our present design of rod.

If you would be good enough to have a look at our connecting rod and advise us the thickness of your bearing we should very much appreciate it.

Should the connecting rod have insufficient thickness to bore out to the correct diameter, if you will advise us of the desirable thickness for this type of work we will make a trial set of rods up specially and approach Messrs. Wellworthy for the necessary bearings.
