X.34612 REAR SHOCK ABSORBERS. X.3463

As you know, Messrs. Frood are making us a material for interleaving rear springs. This material will, we anticipate, be a cotton base impregnated with graphite.
We think it would be an excellent thing if we could ask them to supply us with some discs for the rear shock absorbers of this material so that we could use it in place of the red fibre. The trouble we have with the red fibre is that it becomes dry and increases the load on the shock absorber also if it works any length of time in a dry condition it becomes charred.
