X.3461b. RE SHOCK DAMPERS. X.2628b.

With reference to your report Hsl/AT18.6.20,
do the shock dampers loose their gease, or does it simply
work from between the plates ? Does it suggest more plates
and possibly smaller steps between them ?

I think we ought to arrange the working condition
to be 20 lbs. What is the percentage of friction in the front
and rer springs themselves ? Perhaps these shock dampers
do proportionately too little to justify their existence,
yet we understand the result of road test shewd that they make
definite improvement.
