Dear Mr. Robotham,
Thanks for your letter of the 11th inst. I am glad you are pleased with the sample carburetter sent along.
As regards the Brass spindles, of course a certain amount of wear takes place with these both in the die cast body and on the spindles themselves, but a lot depends on the way the controls are fitted up. I will try and find an old carburetter and let you have it for inspection.
I am afraid I shall not be able to come to Taub's paper on Monday, but I have read it. It is like the Curate's egg - good in parts. I am sending Mr. Morris and Mr. Kent up. They will probably have a few words to say on the matter.
