Dear Mr. Rowbotham,
Mr. Skinner has asked me to send you two old carburetters so that you may see the wear in the throttle spindle holes after these zinc die castings have been in use for a good time.
We are sending two carburetters under separate cover one of which is off a Morris 12 h.p. van and was made in these works on 7/2/36 and is marked H.14768. The other has been removed from a Morris 10 h.p. car and was made on 29/8/31 and is marked C.26402.
We are, of course, unaware of the total number of miles that each carburetter has done but these have been removed in our Service Dept., this week as they were considered to have been worn out.
Yours sincerely,
