34-EX.

You will, I am sure, be interested to read the reports I have received of the first four demonstration runs we have given on this car since it came back from W: -

" Driver's report on run given to Lord & Lady Cholmondley

" His Lordship's actual remarks were : "By Gad ! this is a
" most wonderful car, you now have two cars which will be
" very hard to beat", meaning the Phantom III and the 4 1/4 litre
" Bentley.

" Driver's report on run given to Mr. & Mrs.Daniels.

" Mr.Daniels said he had never sat in anything like it, and
" that Rolls-Royce Ltd were two years ahead of anything else.

" Driver's report on run given to Mr.Eustace Watkins.

" This gentleman was very pleased with the car and said that
" he would be writing to Major Cox on his return to London. He
" remarked that 34-EX was more like a steam car than anything
" else, as it was so smooth and nice to handle.

" Driver's report on run given to Mrs.Jackson

" Mrs.Jackson was very pleased with the run on 34-EX and
" several times mentioned that it was a lovely smooth running
" car,and that one got no swing round corners.
