On going over the quarterly complaints of the English cars, another point raised was the question of coils. They are very concerned with the number of coils we are replacing in view of the fact that coil trouble is very rare on the cars they have produced. I have explained to them that the coil failures are on old cars and that the latest coils give very little trouble. They point out that the type of coil we are using has been given up by all the U.S. manufacturers several years ago. I have arranged to have sent to Derby one of the latest Delco coils and also DeJon which is the type of coil used on Springfield cars. Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} | ||
