X.3533 To R.{Sir Henry Royce} from Ck.{Mr Clark} c. to CJ. c. to Da{Bernard Day - Chassis Design} Ckl/T22.3.20. X.3533 - DYNAMO FOR GOSHAWK. X. 3526 Regarding the above, would you now prefer, in view of our discussion on this matter, in the case of the dynamo for the 40/50 chassis, that the winding for this should be also arranged one coil per slot instead of three coils per slot, as previously asked for in your R7/G24.3.19. Presumably the results of our experiments on the dynamo for the 40/50 made on starter motor parts may decide/case whether the slots should be deep with a single vertical row of wires or more shallow with a double row.
