Dear Sir,

In reply to your letter of the 11th.inst. re door locks, and confirming your conversation with Mr Robotham, we suggest that no further locks be put in hand at the moment until we have had some experience with the set that you have very kindly produced for us, and which we are at the moment in the process of fitting to a body.

We would like to take this opportunity of thanking you for hurrying through this sample set of locks.

Yours faithfully,
