S/W Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} Re ETHYL PETROL With further reference to my memo. of yesterday, on re-reading your memo. I see you say that you have special provision on the 4¼, 25/30h.p. and the Phantom III, which is, of course, a very clear line of demarkation. I am taking it that all these cars are so protected. If you will please confirm this I will give instructions for stocks to be carried, etc. Presumably nothing was protected before this and therefore we can just continue as we have done in the past, advising it only in cases of bad pinking, but generally recommending the ordinary standard fuels.
