Ethyl Petrol for Bentley Cars.

With reference to Hd{Mr Hayward/Mr Huddy}/SB.{Mr Bull/Mr Bannister}5/HR.21.5.36.

Ethyl petrol is now going to be recommended in the instruction book.

We have improved the sparking plug which is being supplied with the Bentley, and are satisfied that this is O.K. with Ethyl. The rest of the engine unit is specifically designed to stand up to Ethyl.

We have no confirmatory evidence that an engine detonates worse after Ethyl has been used than it would if Ethyl had never been put into the car; in fact quite the contrary.

We are issuing a further Depot Sheet on the subject.
