I am in receipt of Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}10/MJ.26.1.34. I imagine from your memo. that the body is going to be repaired and that the second paragraph indicates that you would like a new saloon body to be put in hand for an experimental car to replace the open body which you have got.

I am quite agreeable to this and I imagine that the body is the one which Ev.{Ivan Evernden - coachwork} has been writing things about just recently which, as you say, is to be a little larger.

This body, I understand, will go on the chassis at present fitted with an open body and the chassis will be re-built to embody the items as per your list and form the next 10,000 miles car with a view to the standardisation of new features after the first 400. I should be glad if you would say how soon you will be ready for the body so that Ev.{Ivan Evernden - coachwork} can say if it can be ready in time.
