To Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD}........from Ev.{Ivan Evernden - coachwork} copy to Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} Ev{Ivan Evernden - coachwork} X204 Ev{Ivan Evernden - coachwork}4/IH.1.2.34. re:- 10,000 Miles Test Bentley ------------- We are informed by Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} that you will require this body at the earliest possible moment and no longer than from six to eight weeks from now. We quite understand that for reasons of policy we should purchase this body from someone other than Park Ward's. Shall we approach Messrs. Barker's, Hooper's or Thrupp's, to see if they can do the job in the time? There is the point, however, that if we are to profit by our previous experience on a body of this class and so get progressive developments, it might be considered that the present builders of our Stock Four-door Sports Saloon should do this work. The designs will be completed by the week-end, when we shall be ready to place the order. Ev.{Ivan Evernden - coachwork} ----- | ||
