A.{Mr Adams} HOLDEN, Esq.,

Grange Road,
Worsley,
near Manchester.

Dear Arthur,

When in Glasgow last week, I met the Manager of our Crewe Works, Mr. J.{Mr Johnson W.M.} Morris. He asked me if I knew of a suitable person to act as Transport Manager. Now, I am sure you could do the job very well and your long association with R.R. cars would stand you in good stead.

I suggest you write to Mr. Morris, Rolls-Royce Ltd, Crewe, at once. I am sending him a copy of this letter.

I wrote you a long letter after hearing from you last time, but having heard no more, I am hoping that you have not been bombed out?

Our love to you both.

Yours ever,
