X 3485 RE "GOSHAWK 1" PROPOSED TEMPORARY BATTERY IGNITION X 3173

Mr. Hives wishes to fit temporarily a Distributor and Contact Breaker in place of the present Magneto.

The Distributor is an old aero distributor still [struck through] now [handwritten above] in existence, and we wish to make a base and a right-angle drive to stand on the present Magneto base.

The idea is shown on "N" Scheme 760 of which we send you two prints herewith. Would you please put details in hand.

We believe it is intended to use a standard coil mounted on the dash.
