X3485 GENL D (DD-2-11 AM.H.2).T(m).A.2.S S To HS.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} from R.{Sir Henry Royce} Copy to O.I. [Strikethrough] E.W.C. R10/G15/2/21. X3485 RE "GOSHAWK I" - IGNITION. X4275 X3481 I do not think it would be good to put on the Bosch (American) ignition until Clark has tested this. I should prefer to fit a set of Delco, but with a good magneto slave type of which will fire the engine at very slow speed, as the Watford or B.T.H. I do not see any object in fitting battery ignition. We do not want to spend any more on this model than enough to make just a few of these run well to compare with "Goshawk II" with its somewhat different construction.
