PIPE UNIONS.

We had no end of trouble on the Phantom engine due to oilleaks on the Spherical Joints, the time spent by the fitters during erection, and on unit test was enormous, hence our request for the conical type as fitted to the 20/25 HP. which was free from trouble.

All the 25 sets of the latter type fitted on Phantom engines were satisfactory, and no trouble was experienced during test.
