x4553 To Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} from Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} Re Headlamp & Wing Movement on the Bentley. Copy to Wor.{Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager}C. F.BY.Da.{Bernard Day - Chassis Design}Bu.Hn.{F. C. Honeyman - Retail orders} With further reference to Sg{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD}10/E30.11.34 for the reasons mentioned in my memo. re non-standardisation and in view of the fact that the Design Dept. are dealing with the centrally mounted radiator etc. to reduce lamp and wing movement, I do not feel it is necessary for them also to deal with the question of designing a special bumper as any who want it can surely have the Wilmot-Breeden type.
