EXPERIMENTAL DEPARTMENT. FOR THE ATTENTION OF MR. F.{Mr Friese} DODD. Dear Sirs, The two 4.00-17 wire wheels to which you refer in your letter of the 31st. August, have been received. We can find no evidence of failure of the wheels due to load, but it would appear that several of the front spokes have been damaged, presumably in tightening up the nuts. We are passing the wheels to our Service Department, who will report fully to you on the matter. Yours faithfully, for DUNLOP RIM & WHEEL COMPANY LTD., [Signature] Technical Manager.
