Bailey - Chief Engineer} Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} RHC.{R. H. Coverley - Production Engineer} HPS.{Horace Percy Smith - Experimental Factory Mgr} Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Gry.{Shadwell Grylls} RHC{R. H. Coverley - Production Engineer}/SS.{S. Smith} RHC{R. H. Coverley - Production Engineer}/SB.{Mr Bull/Mr Bannister} BY/NS.{Norman Scott} WRAITH 111. For convenience of discussion the Wraith programme was divided into 24 chassis and 300 chassis. BY.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} agreed to write a memo to RHC.{R. H. Coverley - Production Engineer} stating that 24 chassis are to go ahead as now. Any parts which it is essential to alter can be changed later. RHC.{R. H. Coverley - Production Engineer} stated specification for cars 25 to 300 need not be finalised for a month from today in view of revised schedule. Crankcase and Bearing. Bearing Liners and Caps with shims, to be fitted to 1st. 24 cars and up to 100th chassis. If the experimental tests on shims less bearings, are satisfactory an intermediate arrangement will be introduced at some point to suit the Works i.e. Bearing Liners without shims and bearing caps with shims. The 3rd stage i.e. shimless bearing caps and liners is to be introduced on 'B' series, (200th chassis) onwards. Drawings for shimless bearings to be released during next week. Mounting for 'AC' Oil Filter. New details issued during the week. Existing brackets to be used on 1st 24 cars, and must be changed later. Radiator.
