For the attention of Mr E.Fowler Clark.

Dear Sirs,

With regard to our recent visit to you in connection with our Electric Lighting Equipment, we enclose herewith a description of the theory of the Dynamo which you stated would be of interest to you.

It should be noted that in the actual machine we draw current from one auxiliary brush and one main brush. This, however, does not alter the current distribution in the armature winding in any way. It only alters the current in one of the resistances. We have verified this by careful tests.

We shall be sending you along one of our Model 3, 12 Volt, 10 ampere dynamos in a few days for you to make your bench tests upon and the rest of the equipment will follow in a short time.

We also return herewith the copy of the Model Engineer you so kindly lent us. The article on the Rectifier is most interesting, and we think that a most useful and ingenious device.

P.T.O.
