Dear Sirs,

Referring to the interview between your good self, Mr. Fowler Clark, and the writer, in company with one of our Electrical Engineers, Mr. Lovk, we beg to thank you for the courtesy shown during our visit.

SPEEDOMETER. We have pleasure in informing you that we are preparing a sample instrument for test. In the meantime we have pleasure in enclosing herewith blue print Y.0848mwhich shows the disposition of the speedometer in the dashboard and arrangement for fixing same. From this drawing you will be able to cut out the necessary holes in the dashboard before receiving the speedometer.

We also enclose blue print of our Skj0335 showing details for the union and driving spindle, for the flexible shafting. From the latter drawing you will note that the revs. of our speedometer are 3360 per mile, using a tyre of 890 mm and gear ratio of 3 1/4 to 1; the ratio of the pulleys should be as 29 is to 17, the former being the driver.

WATCH. We are preparing a nicekl finished sample of this and will forward at the same time as the speedometer.

DYNAMO LIGHTING SET. We have pleasure in informing you that we have put in hand a set to comprise a 12 V.{VIENNA} 10 amp. Dynamo specially wound to suit your requirements, a set if Nickel 9 1/2" head lamps, 5" Side lamps nd Tail-Lamps Nickel flush switch board to include, if possible, Weston Mott Ampere Meter. It is understood that in the event of our not being able to obtain a Weston Mott instrument, we are to supply a temporary meter of approved design. As you are aware, there are very few samples of Weston Mott instruments in the country. We are also arranging to include with the equipment, a 60 amp. P & R Ebonite Accumulator, type L.D. with terminals at extreme end, as requested.

In concluding, amy we ask you to kindly return the sample switchbox left by the writer, addressed to him care of Grand Hotel, Birmingham at your convenience.
