CHILDS

Dear Sirs,

We have your letter of the 1st instant, RM{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/RC{R. Childs}8/JH, and note what you say about the battery in question. We understand that this matter is now satisfactorily concluded.

You were interested in the experimental battery fitted on the writer's car and we promised to give you a report on this in due course. The enclosed is a copy of the report, from which it does not appear to have done too badly and the interesting thing is that the thinner plates have stood up very well which gives hopes for satisfactory service from the still thinner ones you have recently adopted.

Yours faithfully,
PETO & RADFORD.

G.R.N. Minchin
