PH.III STEERING GEAR.

This is to confirm that we have asked you to do the following work on Ph.III steering gears in connection with our tests to twist rocking shafts.

(1) Dismantle steering gear from 30.EX after test. Rebuild to enable chassis to be pushed about Garage with rocking shaft and roller removed from bumper chassis.

(2) Dismantle steering gear from bumper chassis, fit new standard rocking shaft and roller and re-assemble.

(3) Fit ball type roller previously rig tested by W.Bell to spare Ph.III steering gear for static load tests.
