| V3498 FERRANTI LTD. HOLLINWOOD, LANCASHIRE. 11th August, 1927. Radio/GR{George Ratcliffe} Messrs. Rolls-Royce Ltd., Nightingale Road, Derby. Dear Sirs, FERRANTI ELECTRICAL MEASURING INSTRUMENTS. On the 15th ult., we had pleasure in writing to you with regard to the small high class moving coil instruments which we are putting on the market, and to which up to the time of writing we have received no reply. We feel that these instruments should be of interest to you in view of their suitability for dashboard use and we should therefore like you to let us know if we may furnish samples for your inspection and test. We would emphasize the fact that the instruments are of very fine design and finish, they are robust and have an accuracy of 1%, whilst at the same time although this may not be an important consideration for the use in question, their energy consumption is less than that of all other similar instruments. As already indicated we shall be pleased to arrange for one of your Sales Engineers to visit you with samples to discuss the matter. Yours faithfully, FERRANTI LIMITED. | ||
